Insights into The Franklin Club Fly Tying Group
At The Franklin Club Fly Tying Group, we welcome new members to join us for our bi-monthly, two-hour sessions. A small nominal fee is charged to offset the cost of materials and equipment. Many of our club members will arrive early to enjoy a meal together in the dining room prepared by our head chef before each tying session begins.
Our fly tying group consist of club members and often visits from special guest tiers, all bringing decades of experience both on the water and at the vise. Every tying session is aimed to be fun, educational and engaging. Teaching proven fly patterns to attract rainbow, brown, and brook trout, as well as techniques to refine how you present the fly on the water while fishing.
Whether you’re new to fly fishing or looking to refine your skills, our fly tying group offers valuable guidance in a supportive community of fly fishing enthusiasts. Scroll below to see some of our fly-tying tutorial videos and photos of club members and guests during our clubs fly tying sessions.
